Meet Jonathan
I remember when I was about 4 years old, my mother started dropping stacks of paper and crayons for me to scribble with on the floor, and I immediately became obsessed with creating.
As I grew up and continued to explore art-making, my family encouraged me to apply to a nearby art school, the Kansas City Art institute, where I eventually won a scholarship and graduated in 2010.
After graduation, I felt like I could make anything come alive on canvas, and my friends and family would shower me with compliments when I showed them my portfolio. But a growing sense of emptiness started to creep into my gut.
